Duties

Assess needs regarding Benefits, HRIS, and HR compliance * Educates line Managers on process, practices, and programs with Benefits services * Manages benefits interface with payroll to ensure compliance, data integrity and adherence to process * Manage content of benefits website to ensure data is current * Monitor legislative changes and trends * Manages third-party HR vendor resources, benefit carriers, etc.. * Assist with timely completion of annual non-discrimination testing – the 5500’s – and financial statements for 401(k) plan * Administers Leave Management and Worker’s Compensation companywide * Conducts the exit interviews to analyze data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement * Update and maintain HR Employee Handbook * Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of Human Resources Department in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, and/or policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in the Human Resources Department efficiency and services provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required – - – BA in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent fields preferred * 7 + years of experience successfully handling employee benefits including health / welfare benefits and retirement plans * 3-5 years experience working with HRIS/benefit systems (ADP EV5 preferred) * Must have strong working knowledge of Federal and State leave laws and Workers’ Compensation * Proficient in MS office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint * Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with all levels of staff and management * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent analytical skills required * Positive personality, extremely detail oriented and focused on meeting deadlines * CEBS Certification preferred * Overall familiarity with HRIS reporting tools a must.
