Typical Duties will include:
Business to Business Service organization
Processing of payroll for up to 1000 employees on various cycles from bi-weekly, semi-monthly to weekly.
*** at least 5 years of hands-on payroll experience ***the ability to manage the payroll process for at least 500 employees ***strong attention to detail ***technically literate ***strong with Excel . . .***has basic knowledge of HR procedures in terms of new hire paperwork and on-boarding***

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Responsible for the hands-on delivery of the organization’s payroll function. This Ensures proper reporting and compliance as needed. Oversees annual W-2 process. Provide ad hoc reports as needed. Heavy client interaction in a customer service environment.
A minimum of 5 years of corporate related hands-on payroll experience required servicing a minimum of 500 employees is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration is highly desired. Bilingual in Spanish – required.
PUBLICLY TRADED HR OUTSOURCING COMPANY
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of customized human resource service solutions that positively impact clients business. Responsible for providing guidance, training and support to clients in the areas of strategic human capital management, employment law compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, organization development, workers’ compensation administration and the overall development of best practices in human capital management. Examples include:*Consulting with Client companies on best practices in HR concerning the full employment life cycle, including the hiring, development, retention and termination of employees. *Conducting on-site training in the basic of HR management, ie. selection interviewing, communication, motivation, progressive discipline, sexual harassment, wage and hour compliance. Responsible for all components of implementing new clients into human resources and payroll processing systems, ensuring the following: *Timely and error-free payroll processing for new clients for two to three payroll cycles before handoff to payroll team, *Accurate and 100% compliant new hire paperwork for all employees,*Delivery of comprehensive and customized employee and management orientation programs for new clients to ensure smooth, error-free transition
Thorough understanding of human resources principals and practices, including employment laws and regulations. * Demonstrated proficiency in conducting root cause analysis to determine optimum solutions to solve human resource issues. * Ability to conduct comprehensive HR needs assessments and analyses. * Ability to benchmark, measure, analyze and articulate the value and ROI of HR initiatives, practices and policies. * Knowledge of HR metrics and ability to assess and implement long-term goals and balance against short and intermediate-term needs of client companies. * Ability to complete high-volume workload, meet critical deadlines and work through constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. * Ability to relate positively within a diverse workforce at all organizational levels. * Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful presentations to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization. * Commitment to excellence and high standards and a strong sense of self-accountability. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to prepare company-wide business correspondence and documents, including employee handbooks, policies and procedures, employee and performance management documents, and other professional correspondence. * Proven leadership and strong business acumen. *Bilingual skills are a plus. * Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent required. * Eight to ten years HR generalist experience or equivalent. *Desirable for candidate to have a human resource certification such as the PHR or SPHR Prior experience in, or exposure to payroll processing; or an aptitude or ability to learn how to process payroll, including knowledge of wage and hour laws. *SPANISH IS A MUST HAVE*
